Provision Host

The provision host is a Docker container that serves as the management hub for UIS. It contains all tools needed to deploy and manage services on any Kubernetes cluster — you don't need to install anything on your local machine besides Docker.

How it Works​

The ./uis CLI on your host machine talks to the provision host container. The container has Ansible, Helm, kubectl, and all playbooks baked in. Your local configuration (.uis.extend/ and .uis.secrets/) is mounted into the container.
